#6 COHO YEARLING

These coho were hatched and raised at the Maritime
Heritage Center in Bellingham, Washington in the
fresh waters of Whatcom Creek.  At approximately
a year and one half they are released to the ocean where they become salt tolerant.

 The Coho, also called Silver, grows to maturity to be one of the fastest, the brightest and the tastiest of the Pacific Salmon. They return to the stream of their birth, and enroute are vigorously pursued by sportsmen and commercial fishermen alike.
